Global artwork and artists prepare to fly in for Art Vancouver

Vancouver, B.C. – Art Vancouver, Western Canada’s largest international art fair, is back. Artists and galleries from all over the world are set to arrive in the city in May, showcasing a wide range of contemporary art to the public. Countries from across the globe are represented in this year’s exhibition, including Iran, Mexico, USA, Taiwan, Zimbabwe, Kenya, Argentina and Cuba. Integrated with the international guests are Canadian artists from all provinces and territories. Artists and gallery representatives will be at the exhibition to discuss their artwork, their influences and to sell their pieces. Attendees can look forward to an art runway show on opening night as well as a game and date themed evening. Interactive activities will include a live art competition, speaker panels, and art classes. Art Vancouver will be held at the Vancouver Convention Centre from May 5–8.
