Collingwood, Ontario – August 24, 2022 – The Ontario RV Dealers Association has named Shane Devenish of the Canadian Recreation Vehicle Association as the winner of the 2022 ORVDA Associate Member of the Year.

In presenting the award, Natalie Conway, Executive Director of ORVDA cited the many areas in which Shane has contributed to the various ORVDA projects.

Shane Devenish has enjoyed a long and very accomplished career in the RV industry, starting in the finance sector, and progressing to his role as of the President of the CRVA. Shane is actively involved in all levels of the Canadian RV industry, as a valued leader and mentor – among his many contributions to the success of the industry, Shane serves as the Executive Director of the Canadian Camping and RV Council.

In accepting his award, Shane had the following comments:

“I was deeply honoured to have been named as the 2022 ORVDA Associate of the Year this week in Blue Mountain. I would like to congratulate all of the other nominees, along with Roland Goreski, who was named ORVDA’s Dealer of the year. It was a real pleasure seeing everyone again this week after being unable to gather the past two years. My sincere thanks to everyone at ORVDA for this award!”

Shane is not only a moving force on the national level in the Canadian RV industry, his efforts to help out at all levels of the industry at national and provincial levels have been applauded by members of the industry throughout North America.

This is the second time Shane has won the ORVDA Associate of the Year Award – the first time being during his time as a member of the financial sector of the industry.
