Nicklaus North Golf Course Introduces: The Cabin

Whistler, BC, April 9, 2020 ‐ Nicklaus North Golf Course introduces “The Cabin”, opening early May,
2020. This new game changing 1,500 square foot building at the practice facility is a powerful new
addition to the Nicklaus North Golf Course and Whistler area. Director of Instruction Graham Kehoe and
Nicklaus North have entered into this joint venture. Graham is the driving force in making The Cabin a
reality.

“The Cabin will help break down some macro issues facing the game and aligns with the Nicklaus North
strategic plan on several fronts. It will play a key role in retention of PGA of Canada Golf Professionals,
significantly improve golfer satisfaction with year‐round offerings and modern technology, and provide
desired privacy with two separate inside areas,” says Jason Lowe, General Manager at Nicklaus North.

The generous fourteen‐foot bay doors open so golfers can see the ball flight in summer and close the
doors in winter to use a retractable impact screen. Practice and instruction time will utilize state of the
art technology including Trackman 4 and Flightscope X3. Technology is critical for effective golf
instruction. It can also help golfers better understand practice habits and simply let users enjoy playing
indoors in the growing segment of simulator play. The PGA of Canada professionals at Nicklaus North
will offer a full matrix of club fittings from TaylorMade, Ping and Callaway. The instruction offerings will
be guided by Graham Kehoe and Club Fitter of the Year Andrew Smart.
