Father-Daughter team to ski all 42 ski resorts in BC in 42 days in support of Tidbits of Change Foundation

Founders of The Tidbits of Change Foundation are aiming to visit all 42 lift-serviced ski areas in B.C. in 42 days as part of The Skadi Tour. It is believed to be the first time anyone has skied all of the ski areas in the entire province in the same single winter.

“We are super excited to ski them all, there are incredible areas across the whole province, each with their own way of being special.”

Starting this week, the founders of The Tidbits of Change Foundation are aiming to visit all 42 lift-serviced ski areas in B.C. in 42 days as part of The Skadi Tour. It is believed to be the first time anyone has skied all of the ski areas in the entire province in the same single winter.

Greg Scott and his daughter Hali, of the Tidbits of Change Foundation, will be visiting ski areas in the day and then various school groups and parent/teacher organizations in the late afternoons and evenings to talk about youth bursaries of the foundation – in an effort to encourage Canadian youths to take on their own inspiring projects with their parents/mentors.

“We are super excited to ski them all,” said Scott. “There are incredible areas across the whole province, each with their own way of being special.”

Ted Allsopp, the creator of the Downhill Riders Ski & Travel Co., is, according to Scott, the first known person to ski all the province’s ski areas which he did over a number of years. “When Ted found out we were touring schools in the province to talk about the Tidbits of Change Foundation bursaries,” Scott said. “He challenged us to ski all the places in the same winter ... the idea sounded too fun not to accept and completing it as a dad and daughter team made it seem all the more amazing,” said Scott, also mentioning that Allsopp and his 9-year-old son Cohen will be joining parts of the Tour.

The unique The Skadi Tour trip is a nod to the Norse mythology goddess of snow, skiing, and mountains. The tour will be completed utilizing a ski themed, custom-built tiny house, created by Hummingbird Micro Homes. The home features sleeping for three, water-storage, incinerator toilet, Head skis trim, ski lockers, boot warmers, après ski charcuterie table, Starlink connection and more.

About the Tidbits of Change Foundation

The Tidbits of Change Foundation is a volunteer driven not-for-profit organization that helps and encourages Canadian youth & parent/mentor partnerships to develop, contribute & experience community initiatives together. It is centered on the notion that our society benefits when young people collaborate with their mentors. More so when those collaborations create something that has positive impact on our communities or whose stories inspire the rest of us. We believe that small changes can make a big difference.
