The Brad Wait Foundation was founded in August 2017 in memory Bradley Bryan Wait who lost his 31 month battle with brain cancer on 15 July 2017 at the age of 42. Brad was an avid and passionate golfer who was actively involved in a number of golfing initiatives in BC, including the Canaccord's Big Brothers Annual Charity Golf Tournament held in Whistler. 

The foundation’s mandate includes raising funds via online raffle/auction and Memorial Golf Tournament along with dinner and a silent auction. Proceeds go to yearly chosen registered charity/set of charities.

The Brad Wait Foundation Memorial Golf Tournament is a tribute to his memory and his love of golf.
