ATAP Foundation Awarded $10,000 Community Hero Grant from Impact100 South Jersey to Expand Literacy Programming

We are incredibly grateful to Impact100 South Jersey and the women whose generosity makes grants like this possible.

All Things Are Possible (ATAP) Foundation is proud to announce that it has been selected as a recipient of a $10,000 Community Hero Grant from Impact100 South Jersey to support its Literacy Enhanced Afterschool Program (LEAP), an innovative initiative designed to strengthen reading achievement and foster a lifelong love of literacy among children in Burlington County.

The grant investment will allow ATAP Foundation to expand its after-school program to a literacy-enhanced afterschool program, LEAP, a 10-month afterschool program created in response to the growing need for literacy support among elementary-aged students. The program provides intensive and intentional reading instruction through small-group and one-on-one learning experiences that help students build confidence, improve comprehension, and increase reading proficiency. Funding from Impact100 South Jersey will be used to support student growth.

“This grant is about so much more than collecting and distributing books,” said Dr. Tiffani Worthy, CEO and Founder of ATAP Foundation. “It is about building the necessary capacity in our students to be able to compete in the world with confidence. We are incredibly grateful to Impact100 South Jersey and the women whose generosity makes grants like this possible. Their investment will create meaningful and lasting impact for the students and families we serve.”

The LEAP program builds upon ATAP's existing afterschool services by adding a dedicated literacy component designed to address reading gaps and improve academic outcomes. Beyond academic achievement, the program also supports social-emotional development by creating a positive environment where students feel encouraged, supported, and motivated to learn.

For many families, ATAP is more than an afterschool program; it is a trusted partner in their child's growth and development.

The Community Hero Grant recognizes organizations that create meaningful change and strengthen communities throughout South Jersey. Through collective philanthropy, Impact100 South Jersey empowers women to pool their resources and invest in nonprofit organizations making a measurable difference in the lives of others.

The $10,000 award will help ensure that more students receive the targeted literacy support they need to read at grade level, improve academic performance, and develop a genuine enthusiasm for reading that extends beyond the classroom.

“As a community, we all benefit when children succeed,” said Dr. Carlos Worthy, Chief Operating Officer. “This grant is an investment in our future leaders, future innovators, and future changemakers. We are excited to see the impact these resources will have on the lives of our students.”
